Van Gogh’s Flowering Orchards triptych studied

In January, three paintings of flowering orchards by Vincent van Gogh were temporarily moved to the restoration studio. It was a special moment, for it is rare that different paintings by Van Gogh can be studied together. The three works belong together, forming a triptych. Van Gogh painted Pink Orchard, Pink Peach Trees and The White Orchard in the spring of 1888 in Arles in the South of France. The study data were processed in Part 3 of the Museum Catalogue: Paintings, which the museum is working hard to complete.
