Bicycles and cafe with Van Gogh prints

The Van Gogh Museum contracted important licences for the use of Van Gogh prints in October. Playful bicycles will now come onto the market with images of the public’s favourite works by the artist. In Seoul, the atmospheric Van Gogh Cafe has also been opened.

Sandwich Bikes
With the licence that the Van Gogh Museum has contracted with The Pedalfactory, state-of-the-art bicycles with Van Gogh prints will now be produced. These ‘Sandwich Bikes’ are fitted with prints of famous paintings from the Van Gogh Museum. They are available with motifs from Sunflowers, Almond Blossom, Irises or Wheat Field with Crows. The Amsterdam company The Pedalfactory won the iF Product Design Award in 2014 for the design of the Sandwich Bike.

Van Gogh Cafe Seoul
In Seoul, our Korean partner and Master Licence-holder Infiniss has opened the Van Gogh Cafe in the Lotte World Tower. Visitors to the cafe can have a drink there beneath a wall-to-wall image of Van Gogh’s Almond Blossom.
